I went to sleep pretty much right as I got home as my head hurt, and when I woke up about three hours ago, my head still hurt. Regardless, I realized earlier in the day, before I went to sleep, that my guitar sounded awful and wouldn’t hold a tune for more than a few seconds. I headed of to Guitar Center, got myself some D’Addario strings, which blow the living shit out of the shitty Martin strings I had on. Also I picked up a capo, (“Where do you have your cap-oes?” “Cape-oes?” “Yeah, that’s what I said.”) and a slide (which I feel so so about). Worthy trip just for the strings, words cannot describe how different they feel from what I had. Feels like I have a whole new guitar, plays better and sounds better. Mmm…

Update: About twenty minutes after writing this post, I ended up dropping the glass slide and it shattered on the floor. I felt really dumb, but it had a really poor sound so it was a waste anyway. Oh well!
