But I Am Le Bored

Last day in Escondido, emergency house sitting for my sister. Running around, cleaning up, patching up the dry wall where I punched holes in it, etc. (Pet stain remover is pretty good at removing human stains, too!) OK, so I’m joking, mostly.

Tiffany went back home to Alpine after work this morning so I’m rather… alone… cold… bored…, etc.

I’ve started working with clients more at work, taking their money and stuff. My first two major clients I had to get deposits from flipped out. One guy was uncomfortable with paying the full amount of the low end of the estimate (approx. $1,400.00 that would cover all of his cat’s treatment during it’s stay, and then some) without any sort of hand written guarantee that he would receive the unused surplus in return (even though it states in the estimate he signed that he would be required to pay that amount and that any unused portion would be returned). Then he wanted the exact amount of time that it would take to receive his refund, which us overnighters know nothing about as we are not receptionists. Total dick, I got his money eventually though, so that’s all that matters. Oh, yeah, and we saved his fucking cat’s life, but I guess that part isn’t important.

Second owner was pissed mostly because the doctor who had me make up the estimate went a little overly extravagant with additional insane treatments, (approx $2,200.00 for a three day stay), and even after we knocked $800.00 off the estimate, they still bitched. They were very nice to me though, “Do us a favor, pretend you’re not here, because nothing I say is directed toward you and we don’t blame you. OMG WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THESE PEOPLE AND THIS WHOLE MONEY THING THIS IS RIDICULOUS!” I just whistled to myself while the wife vented to the husband.
