Stupidity

Stupidity is a documentary about… uh… stupidity. It aims to actually give some answers to the question of stupidity, such as, “What is stupidity?” “Why is stupidity so prevailent in society?” “Why does the media seem to celebrate stupidity?” and other pressing issues.

Unfortunately it accomplishes none of it within its hour of run time… that is, unless you’re a complete moron. Unless you know absolutely nothing about the media, the President of the US, and the nature of people in general, this documentary wont teach you anything new. In fact, half of it’s playtime is overtaken by wiz-bang images of “stupidity” that were obviously inserted in order to make the documentary appeal to the “lowest common denominator” it references repeatedly within the film. (Such images: people with mullets and fake narly “redneck” teeth, people crashing through windows, running around wearing diapers, big flashy words on screen for no purpose, etc.)

All in all, a complete waste of an hour.

One Response to “Stupidity”

  1. Watch some of these. They would make good reviews anyway The Losers Club, Equilibrium (2002) Slacker (1991) Audition (1999) In The Soup, Short Cuts (1993) Suicide Club (2002)
