Music Podcast
The idea of starting up a music podcast under the moniker “Staires” (since it’s existence as my personal/professional domain is in question) has been rattling around in my brain today. Only problem is that podcasting music is apparently a bit of a legal grey area. Might be legal, probably isn’t, but there isn’t really a law specifically for it, nor against it. I’ve never much been one to obey the rules, but at this point in my life I’m scared of getting slapped with a big legal bill, so I’m not so sure.
Technically I could try to “protect” myself by releasing the shows only in a low bitrate, 96-128khz. Even more so, I could just use clips of songs, but what’s the point then?
I guess I don’t really have the time for it anyway, but it is an interesting idea. I’ve been told many times that I should try to get into radio because my voice kicks ass (something that I do not understand at all) and, well, I love music. How awesome would it be to host a weekly radio-show where I get to expose people to music I’ve recently heard and adored? I think it would kick a lot of ass, and I don’t think the fantasy is going to go away for quite some time.
Your voice sucks dude. You sound like a date-rapist. Which is oddly fitting.
