Rosa Parks Dies (And I Make Asshole Comments)

Sad.

Even sadder is the fact that most black people today concern themselves with furthering racist agendas instead of actually deconstructing them in the way Rosa Parks did with one single action. Rosa Parks fought for equality, most minorities today seem the fight for inequality, but that might just be my racist white man perspective.

Clarification: Just in case someone doesn’t understand my point here: minorities (aka: non-white people) concern themselves with programs, laws, and political efforts that are concerned with giving minorities an upper hand over non-minorities in America. Rosa Parks, on the other hand, made a broad gesture suggesting equality. She didn’t declare that black people should have reserved seats on busses, (thus continuing racism), she simply wanted black people to have the same chance at any seat they wanted as white people.

If a white person got to a certain seat first, so be it. If a black person got to a seat first, so be it. Why in the world can’t we have the same perspective on jobs, benefits, and living?

In the world today, if a white person and a black person got to the same seat at the same time, the law (lobbied/supported by the NAACP) would dictate that the black man should get it first.
