Days

Thursday night I got drunk at Rookie’s with everyone. That was fun.

I don’t remember what I did Friday night. I think I sat around. Mike, Juan, and Verne came over and hung out for a bit. I left for Escondido around 5:30 in the morning. I got there at seven.

I don’t really feel like writing about it in detail. I guess I waited too long.

Bill and I went to this nice little Irish Pub in Escondido. I had a Seafood Boxty and it came with clams. I had never eaten clams before. I’m sorry but one side of a clam looks like a diseased vagina. I said something like, “These taste like how SeaWorld smells,” and I was right. Clams are odd. I don’t like eating something where I actually feel like I’m eating the entire body of something and can see it’s insides before I bite into it. But I ate like three of them because I figured they were worth a good percentage of the $16 the seafood boxty cost.

I sucked down a White Russian through a straw in about ten seconds—this was the first time I’ve gotten carded at a bar, I tipped her $2.50 for the single drink and left, though now that I think about it, Bill didn’t tip her for his Irish Coffee since he got it through the waiter, what an ass—then we drove to go see The Departed which was merely OK. I would have enjoyed it a lot more had I just waited to download it and saw it for free.

After that I just sat around and got drunk at the house by myself. Not too drunk, but enough drunk. I’m managing my drunkenness which is really great. No more puking everywhere for Brad. I need to put myself in a situation where I can get myself to a certain level of drunkenness and then keep myself there for a good amount of time. I wonder if I can do that without getting a headache. Gotta stay hydrated I guess.

I came home. The end.
